Surplus here. Care there.
We recover surplus and near-expiration medical supplies from hospital departments and outpatient clinics, then sort, pack and ship them to communities in Zambia, Egypt and Ukraine where they are needed now.
Hospitals routinely set aside supplies that are still sealed and usable: overstock from a changed vendor, items close to their expiration date, or packs opened for one item and never used. Under U.S. inventory rules these often leave the shelf long before they stop being useful.
Meanwhile, clinics in many parts of the world ration gloves, gauze and basic instruments. Project SupplyBridge closes that gap. We work department by department to collect what would otherwise be discarded, and we get it to partners who can put it to use quickly.
Overstock, discontinued lines and near-dated stock pile up in storage rooms across a health system.
Near-expiration items need to move in weeks, not months. Fast sorting and a ready partner network matter.
Partner communities tell us what they need, and we pack against that list.
Every shipment follows the same four stages, run by student volunteers.
We contact hospital departments and outpatient clinics to find surplus and near-expiration supplies, then pick them up.
Items are checked for intact packaging and expiration, then grouped by category: wound care, PPE, procedural and more.
Supplies are packed to each partner's request list, labeled by contents and made ship-ready.
Boxes go to community partners in Zambia and Egypt, and through RocMaiden to sites in Ukraine.

We ship only where a partner on the ground has asked for supplies and can distribute them.

Our Egyptian community partners route supplies to the care settings that request them.

Collection runs, sorting sessions and shipments, from the people who make them happen.
Every box we ship starts as a donation of supplies. Whether you run a hospital unit, a clinic or a practice, or just want to lend a hand, there's a way to help.
Organize a collection at your hospital unit, clinic, school or congregation. We'll help you plan it and pick everything up.
Hospital departments, clinics and practices: we'll pick up sealed surplus and near-expiration stock.
Join a sorting and packing session, help with pickups, or connect us with a partner abroad.
Items should be unopened with intact packaging. Near-expiration stock is welcome. Tell us what you have and we'll arrange pickup.
